PM inspects “Royal Blossom” tourism train to be operate by SRT

The “SRT Royal Blossom” is a refurbishment of five Hamanasu cars, originally from Japan,

and has been transform into a luxurious and comfortable travel train. The train features large windows for panoramic views, onboard catering, and a bar and a lounge area.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin posted on platform “X” that “The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) will soon launch the “SRT Royal Blossom” to enhance passengers’ experience on the scenic rail route. The Hua Hin Railway Station, built during the reign of King Rama VI and is one of the most beautiful and oldest railway stations in the country, will serve the upcoming campaign.”

At the new Hua Hin Train Station, Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, PM recently listened to the briefing on the launch of a new tourism train “SRT Royal Blossom” and the plan for transforming the original Hua Hin Train Station into Hua Hin’s own tourist attraction in accordance with the Government’s policy of “IGNITE Thailand”.

Welcoming the PM at the train station were Deputy Minister of Transport Suraphong Piyachote,

Deputy Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) Avirut Thongnet, Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Somkid Chantamaruk, and the tourists.

The PM took the occasion to greet with local people and tourists. He also took photo with a foreign tourist before listening to the briefing and inspecting theSRT Royal Blossom Train which he commended its beauty and unique Thai identity. The Prime Minister hope that the tourists would be impress with the “SRT Royal Blossom”.
