

Prudential Group has plans to make long-term investments in Thailand and the Asian region with additional US$1,000 million (approx. 36 billion baht).
Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Group Anil Wadhwani met Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin at the Government House
while he told that the company is ready to invest for the long term in Thailand and the Asian region. He emphasizes support for Thailand’s ambition to become a regional financial hub and join in driving sustainable financial policy.

“Prudential Group has plans to make additional long-term investments in Thailand and in the Asian region worth more US$ one billion.”
Today ( June 7 ) 2567) time 10:00 a.m. at Thai Khu Fa Building Government House, Chief Executive Officer Prudential Group House Anil Wadhwani and senior management team has met the PM.
Mr Chai Wacharongke, Government spokesperson said the PM was pleased to meet the executive of the Prudential Group. He said this is a good opportunity to talk to the company in a bid to strengthen cooperation. Thailand always opens opportunities for foreign investment in Thailand. The government places important policy on “IGNITE Thailand” vision to promote Thailand to be a financial center in the region.
Ready to support Thailand to become a financial center
“The government is ready to encourage Thailand to become a financial center
or financial hub, as well as to build a complete ecosystem to support Thailand
d is a location for a regional headquarters of the financial company” the premier told the executives of Prudential Group
Mr Wadhwani said “It is an honor and pleasure to visit and paid a courtesy call on the PM today. The company has operated and provides services to customers in Thailand for a long time of 29 years already.”
He confirmed that and were ready to encourage and support Thailand following the vision of PM’s “IGNITE THAILAND” in order to upgrade Thailand to be the financial center of the region. He believes in Thailand’s potential, as well as a location which is a strategic location.
Both sides also discussed and exchanged the vision and government policy
which conforms with the company’s policy. Not only a financial hub and medical tourism, the company is also ready to support youth.
The company is willing to support Thailand’s youth to have the ability to access international work. They can bring knowledge and experience back home to develop the country. The company also
will consider the opportunity to use Thailand as the regional office as well.
