The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in collaboration with partners, launches an intensive learning initiative, delving deep into financial analysis and investment management to prepare a new generation for financial professionals via “New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals” project.The initiative has attracted interest from 3,010 students from 84 universities across the country.

Recognizing that these skills are crucial and in high demand for the capital market and business sectors,
SET and partners have teamed up to host “New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals” project for the fourth consecutive year.
The initiative equips participants with professional-class knowledge, paving their way to financial careers. The project encourages university students to sharpen their financial analyst
and investment skills through the Foundation Knowledge level of Certified Investment and Securities Analyst or known as AISA curriculum.
Furthermore, the participants gain invaluable real-world business exposure, complementing their classroom learning with hand-on experience.
The “New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals” project continues to make waves, having nurtured over 7,298 university students with crucial skills in financial analysis and investment management.
In 2024, the project attracts 3,010 applicants
In 2024, the project saw strong interest, attracting 3,010 applicants from 84 universities nationwide. Through a rigorous selection process, 218 outstanding students were awarded AISA scholarships, with 111 earning spots in Exclusive Financial Career Camp held during June 13-16, 2024.
This year’s camp, a collaborative effort between SET and key industry players, including the Association of Thai Securities Companies,
Thai Listed Companies Association, and prominent companies such as Lakeshore Capital Partners Co., Ltd., Vision Ventures Co., Ltd., Sappe pcl, Meb Corporation pcl, and PacRim Group, offered participants an unparalleled glimpse into the financial world.

Attendees gained hands-on experience through company visits, showcased their potential in financial case study competitions,
collaborated with peers from various institutions, and learned professional development strategies to meet capital market demands and achieve career success in finance.
“SET hopes that the knowledge enhancement and financial career experience provided to the new generation through the “New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals” project will play a crucial role in reinforcing potential of professionals entering the Thai capital market. The project will serve as a working model with partners in developing capital market personnel. These young professionals are expected to become key drivers in fostering sustainable economic growth. The initiative aligns with SET’s vision to mark its 50th year: “Make it ‘Work’ for Every Future”.
