The company has 6 main businesses namely 1. game and network services 2 music 3. videos and movies such as movie Spiderman 4. Entertainment technology and services 5. imaging and detection solutions and 6.financial services
The company has production bases in abroad including Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, China and United kingdom
However, main products manufactured in Thailand including cameras ( Thailand is a production center to the global, exclude China and backend semiconductors
Preparing to open the 4 th factory
The company exchanged opinions on operations in Thailand Including the opening of the fourth factory
under the Sony Device Technology (Thailand) at Bangkradi Industrial Park in Pathumthani.
This new factory will assemble semiconductor laser for hard disk drive to supply data center, image sensor for automotive. This project has won privileges from the Board of Investment.
The company believes in Thailand’s potential, and a tendency to expand investment in the future because the role of AI Technology that enhance demand for data center which continues to increase.
The PM hopes the company will consider Thailand as priority for establishing a center for producing high-technology to support AI technology demand and continued growth of EV cars.
