EXIM BANK launches “The Road to Global E-Commerce 2024” to support Thai entrepreneurs to trade via global platform online.

The project aims to support and develop the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs to start or expand their export businesses via global platforms such as Alibaba.com and HKTDC.com by providing insights into global e-commerce trends, professional online selling techniques, opportunities to expand food and beverage businesses through the Hong Kong market, and international shipping logistics.

EXIM Thailand is ready to offer financial consultation and services as well as export credit insurance to safeguard against the risk of non-payment from overseas buyers.

Ms Draswan Shoowong, Executive Vice President, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), Mr. Kornpong Nualsanit, Head of Thailand Channel Management, Alibaba.com, Mr. Khanitpong lempichairith, General Manager, AJ E-Commerce Co., Ltd., and Ms. Pojjamarn Klinkajorn, Assistant Project Manager, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), jointly launched “The Road to Global E-Commerce 2024” project at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on May 21, 2024.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong’s trade. With 50 offices globally, including 13 in Mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.
