

BCPG announced Q2/2024 performance with net profit of 1.24 billion baht, a 518% increase from last year.
BCPG Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries announced their operating results in Q2/2024 with total revenue of 1.08 billion baht. The major contributor was full revenue recognition of hydropower plants in Laos and oil terminal tank in Thailand, fulfilling the adder gap of solar power plants in Thailand.
Net profit in first half was 1.68 billion baht
The divestment of the company’s total solar power projects in Japan in Q2/2024 led to total net profit of 1.24 billion baht, a 518% increase from previous year. The divestment also resulted in an increase in total net profit of the company’s first half performance in 2024 of 1.68 billion baht or a 136% increase from last year.
“In the second quarter of 2024, we are still on the right track with an additional revenue to fulfill an absence of adder, and the success of the exit deal of our 9 solar power plants in Japan, with total production capacity of 117 MW, on June 26, 2024, which has brought about cash flow to reinvest in other renewable projects to enhance the Company’s rapid expansion”, said Niwat Adirek, president and CEO of BCPG.
At present, BCPG operates total 1,959 MW renewable power plants, 1,183 MW in operation and 776 MW under development.
