elevating the concept of heartwarming meals at good prices. Initially collaborating with Gourmet Market, a large-scale supermarket specializing in food retail, to create a food market featuring guaranteed quality vendors, available from May 9 to 31, 2024.

Mrs Pauranee Kanittanon, director of Marketing & Corporate Communications at BEM revealed “We have collaborated Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and Bangkok Metropolitan Network (BMN) to establish a new urban food hub at MRT National Convention Center Station.”

BMN aims the mall will serve passenger demand

Mr Witsuwat Amkaphet, managing director of Bangkok Metro Networks Co., Ltd. (BMN) said “METRO MALL Feel Good Food Aroi:

Yummy No Matter the Mood” concept at MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station stems

from an understanding of the needs of MRT passengers and people in the surrounding area.

Leveraging the station’s prime location. Which serves as a central hub connecting to significant landmarks such as national-level event centers, hospitals.

And large condominiums, the area attracts a diverse crowd, including office workers, businesspeople, and expatriates.

Furthermore, the front area of METRO MALL already serves as an event space, allowing for easy circulation of shops to create variety and attract attention. However, the absence of medium and large-sized markets in the vicinity means there’s a lack of diverse food options that adequately meet the demand.

Therefore, establishing this Food Hub aims to increase options for MRT users and nearby residents significantly. The Food Hub will become a new rendezvous point for food lovers in the heart of the city, operating as a rotating food market concept with daily rotation throughout the year, serving a variety of hearty, delicious meals, desserts, and accessible beverages. It aims to serv meals from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
